University District
The Ohio State University (OSU) is the second largest college campus in the nation - right in downtown Columbus!
Because OSU is a magnet for students and researchers from every state and many foreign countries, the surround area is one of the region’s most diverse... and features restaurants with the cuisine of many different cultures. As one would expect from a neighborhood housing many students, the University district has a high percentage of rental housing, including apartment, townhouses, and rooming houses. But the area immediately north of campus - Northwood Park - features century -old brick, single-family houses on tree-lined streets.
